French Tax Agency Admits Data Leak: Hacker Stole 678,000 Records

The breach has heightened fears among French cryptocurrency holders of potential "key attacks," as France has seen a rise in crypto-related crimes. Following the incident, calls have emerged for a moratorium on state data collection until security improves. By April, French authorities had charged 88 individuals in 12 crypto-related kidnapping cases, with 41 attacks recorded.
