Deel and Mesh have partnered to enable global payroll payments to employees in stablecoins. Deel is an international HR platform for hiring, onboarding, and managing employees working in different countries. Mesh is a payment infrastructure for digital assets that allows for the transfer of cryptocurrency between wallets, exchanges, and other platforms.
The integration is designed to reduce the risk of error when sending payroll—for instance, when funds are sent to an incorrect address or via an unsuitable blockchain network. Mesh verifies account ownership across more than 300 crypto wallets and exchanges, so Deel will be able to send funds directly to a verified account without the need to manually enter a wallet address.
Mesh notes that account verification is becoming increasingly important for stablecoin payments, as more and more employees prefer to receive their earnings in digital assets. The partnership aims to make such payments safer for both workers and companies.
This partnership is one of Mesh's latest steps in developing its payment infrastructure. The company launched the Mesh Alliance Program—an initiative to ensure compatibility among corporate payment systems—and also introduced the Mesh Wallet for stablecoin operations involving AI agents. Additionally, Mesh joined Paxos's Global Dollar Network and announced partnerships with AMINA Bank and Rain.
