Bitcoin ETF Assets Approach $100 Billion as Price Drops Below $80,000
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw their seventh consecutive day of net inflows, adding $314.37 million. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) captured the vast majority, attracting $284.42 million, while four other funds shared $29.95 million. Total assets under management for these ETFs neared $100 billion, reaching $99.05 billion. Meanwhile, spot Ethereum ETFs also continued their streak, attracting $179.80 million, with BlackRock's ETHA leading at $146.44 million. Inflows were also recorded for Solana, XRP, and other crypto ETFs. Despite this sustained institutional demand, Bitcoin's price briefly surpassed $80,000 before falling to around $78,447, and Ethereum traded near $2,462. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index dipped but remained in "Greed" territory.
