Yesterday, investors poured $314.37 million into spot Bitcoin ETFs on the U.S. market. Over 90% of this amount, or $284.42 million, was invested in BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT).
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have attracted funds for seven consecutive days, increasing total net assets to $99.05 billion.
IBIT Left $29.95 Million to Four Competing Funds
IBIT received $284.42 million. Four other funds that received funds shared $29.95 million between them.
That day, Fidelity's FBTC fund attracted $15.45 million, Grayscale's Bitcoin Mini Trust—$6.98 million, Morgan Stanley's MSBT—$4.52 million, and Bitwise's BITB—$3 million. No fund lost money that day.
In January, Cryptopolitan reported that IBIT controls nearly 70% of the spot Bitcoin ETF volume and manages assets worth over $66 billion.
Within the spot Bitcoin ETF market, total net assets reached $99.05 billion, just shy of $100 billion, with a total trading value of $3.52 billion. Over the week's seven trading sessions, $2.57 billion was attracted.
In August, the inflow amounted to $3.03 billion, leaving the funds $390 million short of the monthly norm for October 2025, with four trading days still remaining in the session.
Due to the recovery of the economy, the net outflow of funds this year has more than halved to $2.26 billion, while the cumulative net inflow since the program's launch has reached $54.36 billion.
BlackRock Also Tops List of Ether-Investing Funds with $146.44 Million in Capital
Spot Ether ETFs attracted $179.80 million, led by BlackRock's ETHA with $146.44 million. As of Tuesday, August 25, Ether ETF growth continued for seven consecutive days.
$25.75 million was invested in Fidelity's FETH fund, and $7.61 million in BlackRock's ETHB fund. In total, all these Ether-based funds hold assets worth $14.88 billion.
Other cryptocurrency ETFs also saw new cash inflows. Solana ETFs attracted $32.25 million, four XRP funds—$23.87 million, and HYPE ETF—$7.51 million.
Cryptopolitan reported that Grayscale converted its Zcash Trust into the ZCSH ETF, traded on the NYSE Arca exchange. As of August 24, the fund's assets were approximately $314 million, with the number of ZEC securities being about 387,200.
Bitcoin briefly surpassed the $80,000 mark before declining. According to CoinGecko, the coin's price was $78,447.81 on Wednesday.
Ethereum traded at $2,462.96, down 0.4%. Both cryptocurrencies showed significant weekly gains: Bitcoin up +14.6%, and Ether up +17.9%.
The Crypto Fear & Greed Index dropped from 74 to 65, remaining in the "Greed" zone but showing signs of weakening. Demand for crypto ETFs continued to grow despite the decline in spot prices.
