Характерной особенностью этой консолидации стало сужение гэпа между верхней и нижней границами полос Боллинджера. Когда расстояние между ними уменьшается, это свидетельствует о снижении волатильности и сжатии диапазона. Такой период низкой волатильности часто предшествует резкому движению цены, когда волатильность вновь увеличивается.
