Ethereum has gained 4.43% in the past 24 hours and is currently trading at approximately $2,624. It has gained a mammoth 43% in the past 7 days. This rally follows a dramatic 20% breakout earlier in May, driven by institutional adoption and the successful rollout of the Pectra upgrade, which has slashed gas fees and enhanced staking efficiency.
The ETH/BTC ratio, rebounding from historic lows, underscores Ethereum’s growing strength relative to Bitcoin, with some traders predicting a test of the $2,800–$2,900 resistance zone soon.
Altcoin Movements: Solana, XRP See Decent Gains
Altcoins are showing signs of life as Bitcoin’s dominance softens, with several leading alts posting decent gains. Solana (SOL) has climbed 4% to $180, while XRP has gained nearly 3% to $2.61 in the past 24 hours.
