It’s been a while since Bitcoin has been stuck near $85k levels, where it is facing major resistance against its potential rally. Following Bitcoin, leading altcoins are also avoiding any major spikes, while XRP and LEO have experienced slight drops today.
Since it’s a long weekend and the U.S. stock market is closed for the next three days in a row, the influence of Wall Street on the crypto market is bare minimum. Since the start of this week, the crypto market is trading near the same level, and trading activity has turned dim as it recovers from the recent flush when Bitcoin dropped to $74k on U.S. tariff turmoil.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading near $84,664 with a 24 hour trading volume of $20.43 billion. It marked a daily low of $83,816 while surging as high as $85,426 today.
ETH has been attempting to break above $1,600 while XRP is also going through the same timeframe and falling below $2.10, a key resistance level. SOL, BNB, TRX and ADA are also on a similar trajectory.
From the top gainers, a new coin in the town, $T (Threshold), is leading with a 47% surge in the past 24 hours, followed by TAO’s 12% and PYTH’s 9% gain. On the losing side, Fartcoin is at the top, with it falling 15% while BERA decreased 12% in the past 24 hours.
The overall market sentiment remains sturdy while giving mixed signals amid decreased trading activity.
