Key Takeaways
- VINE rallied following Elon Musk’s X post about resurrecting Vine.
- At the height of the rally, VINE climbed to $0.172, but it has decline in recent days.
- ChatGPT and Grok predict that without further social media hype, the token will continue to fall.
After Elon Musk posted that “we’re bringing back Vine,” a meme coin based on the nostalgic video platform, which was shut down by Twitter in 2017, surged to its highest price since January.
But is the VINE frenzy just a flash in the pan? Or does it have staying power?
CCN explores price predictions from ChatGPT and Grok, which present alternative views of the token’s prospects.
Elon Musk Post Pumps VINE
On July 24, Musk posted: “We’re bringing back Vine, but in AI form.”
Soon after the post on X , VINE started to climb. At the height of the rally on July 28, the Solana-based token hit $0.172, a 350% increase from its pre-tweet price.
By Wednesday, July 30, however, VINE had retraced to $0.117. While still up over 200%, the steep decline since Monday suggests the memecoin’s moment in the sun may be over.
ChatGPT VINE Price Prediction
When asked to predict the price of VINE a week from now, ChatGPT noted that the token “was trading around $0.03 just 10 days ago.”
“Its parabolic rise to $0.15+ in late July 2025 was triggered entirely by social media hype,” the chatbot added, noting that there is no official link between VINE and Musk or any Vine relaunch.
Trading volume has “already started tapering off across Solana DEXs,” ChatGPT said, concluding that a return to the $0.06–$0.08 range was “likely” within the next week as attention fades.
“If no further tweets or speculative pumps occur, a slide to below $0.05 is realistic, it added.
Looking further ahead, ChatGPT said a reversion to $0.03–$0.04 by mid-August was possible, with “potential for a death spiral to <$0.01 by Q4 2025.”
One Week Outlook: $0.05–$0.15
“Without new catalysts, price likely settles near $0.05–$0.08. However, a viral tweet from Elon Musk or another influencer could reignite hype, pushing it back to $0.12–$0.15 on thin liquidity.”
One Month Outlook: $0.03–$0.20
“If attention fades, a slow grind down to the $0.03–$0.05 range is likely.”
One Year Outlook: $0.005–$0.30
“In the absence of real development, it risks drifting to sub-penny territory. On the other hand, if the Vine brand is revived, speculative value could push it as high as $0.25–$0.30. Such a rally would almost certainly be short-lived and volatility-driven”
Grok VINE Prediction
Like ChatGPT, Grok was wary of VINE’s reliance on social hype for any potential upside:
“Predicting the price of Vine Coin (VINE), a Solana-based meme coin, is challenging due to its high volatility and dependence on speculative market sentiment, social media hype, and potential developments related to the Vine platform’s revival.”
Considering several third-party predictions, which consider different bullish and bearish scenarios a year from today, Grok said:
“Given VINE’s lack of utility and dependence on market sentiment, I lean toward the lower end, aligning with Bitget’s $0.1437 and CoinCodex’s bearish $0.078492.
“A realistic midpoint accounts for potential consolidation after the 2025 hype cycle, with $0.072 as a floor if adoption stalls and $0.243 as a ceiling if minor utility or sustained sentiment emerges.”
One Week Outlook: $0.088–$0.115
“Likely correcting due to overbought conditions.”
One Month Outlook: $0.085–$0.134
“Consolidation expected as hype cools.”
One Year Outlook: $0.072–$0.243
“Reflecting uncertainty around utility and market sentiment.”
