Bitmine’s stash crosses 4M ETH after latest $40M buy

Ethereum treasury company Bitmine has reached a significant milestone, with its Ether holdings surpassing 4 million ETH after a recent $40.61 million purchase of 13,412 tokens. Over the past week, the company acquired nearly 100,000 ETH, bringing its total to over 4.06 million tokens, all purchased at an average price of $2,991 each. With ETH's price rebounding to $3,000, Bitmine's holdings are now profitable again after being underwater since October. The firm aims to own 5% of the total ETH supply and is currently 67% toward that goal.
