Что произошло? Пропускная способность сети второго уровня (L2) Hydra на базе блокчейна Cardano превысила 1 млн транзакций в секунду (TPS). Показатель зафиксирован в ходе турнира по игре Doom, который проходит с 3 декабря по 2025 января при поддержке компании-разработчика Cardano Input Output Hong Kong (IOHK). Основатель Cardano Чарльз Хоскинсон объяснил столь высокий результат тем, что в качестве транзакции учитывался каждый игровой кадр.

Что еще известно? Согласно официальным данным страницы турнира, пропускная способность в момент написания статьи составляет лишь 503 TPS, на пике показатель поднимался до 878 000 TPS. Тем не менее, пиковый результат по-прежнему гораздо выше, чем у конкурирующих блокчейнов первого уровня (L1), таких как Solana и Ethereum.

Так, по данным Chainspect, рекордом пропускной способности Solana стала отметка 7229 TPS, теоретический максимум составляет 65 000 TPS. У Ethereum эти показатели равны 62,34 и 119 TPS соответственно. У Cardano они еще ниже: 11,62 и 18,02 TPS.

Разработчик децентрализованной биржи (DEX) Sundaeswap на базе Cardano Джош Маршан считает, что Hydra обладает огромным потенциалом масштабируемости, ограниченным лишь возможностями процессора, и 1 млн TPS не является пределом.

В свою очередь криптоаналитик под ником Goku отметил, что транзакции в рамках турнира по Doom не обрабатывались в основной сети Cardano, а являлись симуляцией в рамках тестнета.

Hydra, запущенная в прошлом году, призвана повысить масштабируемость Cardano за счет увеличения пропускной способности при одновременном снижении задержек и затрат на проведение транзакций.

В основной сети Cardano в настоящий момент поэтапно проводится обновление Chang, которое позволит внедрить многоуровневую систему управления и сделать проект полностью децентрализованным.
