Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson made statements about TRON founder Justin Sun, relations with the European Union, Monad, Midnight, and Cardano's goals in decentralized finance. Hoskinson also stated that he sees little chance of the CLARITY Act passing, a bill closely monitored by the cryptocurrency sector in the United States.
Hoskinson, stating that he has had a good relationship with Justin Sun for many years, said: "I love Justin Sun. He has been very kind to me over the years. We have a very good and sincere relationship based on mutual respect. He has accomplished incredible things. For him, there is only one direction: up. It is admirable."
Hoskinson also mentioned the contacts maintained with European Union institutions, stating that work in this area is largely carried out by the Cardano Foundation. He said the Foundation has established strong connections across the EU and regularly receives invitations to events, adding that he considers the current work successful.
Hoskinson stated that he has had no issues with the Monad company.
Hoskinson specifically highlighted RealFi, a product within the Cardano ecosystem, stating that it is one of the company's most promising projects. He claimed that RealFi has the greatest potential to secure $1 billion in Total Value Locked (TVL) for Cardano within the next 12 months.
Hoskinson also commented on the absence of Midnight's NIGHT token on Coinbase, stating that Coinbase is the only major exchange that has not listed this token. He explained this by citing Coinbase's investment in Aleo, which the exchange considers a competing project, but expressed confidence that the exchange would change its decision in the future.
Hoskinson also shared his expectations regarding the CLARITY Act, which aims to regulate the digital asset market in the United States. When asked if the bill would be passed, he replied: "Probably not."
