BitMine Immersion Technologies, публичная компания по майнингу биткоинов, увеличила свои резервы Ethereum на 373 000 токенов за прошлую неделю. Теперь в казне компании находится 1,52 млн ETH на сумму $6,6 млрд, что отражает растущий интерес к экосистеме Ethereum.

Несмотря на активное накопление ETH, акции BitMine за тот же период потеряли 14,2% стоимости. Данные Google Finance показывают устойчивое снижение котировок с 11 августа.

Томас Ли, председатель совета директоров BitMine, объяснил увеличение резервов ETH возросшим интересом институциональных инвесторов к стратегии компании. BitMine реализует программу «алхимия 5%», цель которой — накопить 5% от общего объема эмитированного Ethereum.

Марси Саймон, представитель BitMine, отметила: «Компания получает выгоду от институционального внимания, поскольку Ethereum становится платформой для построения банковских систем XXI века и токенизированной экономики на базе искусственного интеллекта».

Согласно данным Strategic ETH Reserve, BitMine является крупнейшим корпоративным держателем ETH с долей 1,3% от общего объема. SharpLink Gaming занимает второе место с 729 000 ETH ($3,2 млрд), а Ether Machine — третье с 345 000 ETH ($1,5 млрд).

BitMine и SharpLink Gaming активно соревнуются в пополнении своих Ethereum-резервов. BitMine объявила о планах привлечь $24,5 млрд через размещение акций для дальнейших покупок ETH. SharpLink уже привлекла $389 млн с той же целью.

Международный банк Standard Chartered пересмотрел прогноз цены ETH в 2025 году в сторону повышения — с $4000 до $7500. Аналитики связывают это с ростом институциональных инвестиций и ясностью регулирования стейблкоинов в США.

Обновление сети Ethereum Pectra, запущенное 7 мая, также способствовало росту цены. С момента его внедрения стоимость ETH выросла на 139% — с $1812 до текущих $4332.
