PlanB считает Ethereum (ETH) «централизованным шиткоином»

На фоне последних неудач противники Ethereum (ETH) еще активнее критикуют проект Виталика Бутерина

Анонимный создатель популярной модели Stock-to-Flow (S2F) для биткоина, известный под псевдонимом PlanB, раскритиковал Ethereum. В одном из последних постов на X (бывш. «Твиттер») эксперт назвал ETH «премайненным и централизованным шиткоином».

Что не так с Ethereum

PlanB выделил несколько ключевых проблем второй по капитализации криптовалюты:

  • Премайнинг — большую часть ETH добыли еще до публичного запуска сети Ethereum. Из-за этого растет риск манипуляций со стороны крупных держателей, которые успели получить токены на самом раннем этапе.
  • Централизация — после перехода c Proof-of-Work (PoW) на Proof-of-Stake (PoS) сеть стала зависеть от крупных стейкеров, а не майнеров. Это повышает возможность цензуры транзакций и создает значительные барьеры для валидаторов.
  • Сложность запуска ноды — полная нода Ethereum требует 9+ ТБ данных (архивная — до 21,8 ТБ), тогда как для биткоина достаточно менее 700 ГБ. Обычные пользователи не могут запустить ноду из-за требований к диску и трафику, что увеличивает зависимость от инфраструктурных провайдеров.

«Ethereum сейчас выглядит совсем неважно. Знаю, злорадствовать некрасиво, но такие шиткоины, как ETH — централизованные, с премайнингом, PoS вместо PoW, меняющие эмиссию по желанию — вредны и заслуживают всего того троллинга, который получают», — написал криптоаналитик в ответ на старый твит Виталика Бутерина, в котором тот раскритиковал модель S2F.

PlanB добавил, что за всю историю существования крипторынка Ethereum ни разу не превосходил биткоин. По его мнению, это вряд ли когда-то случится.

Реакция сообщества

Многие участники криптосообщества поддержали мнение PlanB. Так, один из пользователей указал на действия Ethereum Foundation, которая тоже часто сталкивается с критикой.

«Еще более странно то, что Ethereum Foundation периодически продает ETH. Если команда проекта сама инициирует распродажи — можно ли это назвать развитием экосистемы? Или это просто монетизация веры инвесторов?» — написал он.

Еще один участник криптосообщества отметил, что покупка ETH была его самой огромной ошибкой. PlanB попытался его успокоить, подчеркнув, что курс ETH/BTC снова упал ниже 0,02 — до уровня марта 2016 года. Это означает, что почти все, кто покупал альткоин на протяжении последних девяти лет, могли бы получить лучшую доходность, вложившись в биткоин.

Некоторые же пользователи встали на сторону Ethereum. Одним из сторонников ETH остается другой известный криптоаналитик Майкл ван де Попп.

По данным CoinMarketCap, на момент этого материала вторая по капитализации криптовалюта торгуется на уровне $1 600. За последний месяц цена актива снизилась на 20%. Ранее рассказали, почему не стоит рассчитывать на восстановление Ethereum.
