Телефон планируют выпустить в середине 2025 года, и сейчас на сайте Solana Mobile можно оформить предзаказ на аппарат стоимостью $450 и оплатить покупку криптовалютой с помощью кошелька Solflare или Phantom. России и Белоруссии нет в списке доступных стран, поэтому можно предположить, что гаджеты не будут отправлять в эти государства.

На этапе предзаказа Solana Seeker стоит вдвое дешевле своего предшественника Solana Saga, ставшего невероятно популярным в прошлом году из-за стремительного роста курса цифровых активов, которые дарили владельцам аппаратов за участие в аирдропах. В частности, каждый обладатель Solana Saga мог претендовать на 30 млн монет Bonk (BONK), которые стоили $869. Сам смартфон в то время продавали за $599, поэтому покупка устройства приносила прибыль в размере $270.

Пока неизвестно, планируют ли проводить промоакции для обладателей Solana Seeker. Однако гендиректор Solana Mobile Эмметт Холльер сообщил, что новинка будет превосходить Solana Saga по ёмкости аккумулятора, а также качеству камер и дисплея. При этом новый аппарат уступит предшественнику по весу и размеру, в связи с этим его будет проще использовать в качестве второго смартфона.
