Ore v1:挖矿挖到 Solana 宕机

老挖矿新玩法热度拉满

简单来说,Ore 想在 Solana 这种快速的 PoS 链上玩个新式 PoW 挖矿的花样。挖矿者只需将 $SOL 存入挖矿智能合约,之后根据自己解决的问题数量每分钟共享 1 个 $ORE 奖励。“存币挖矿”的机制让任何用户都能参与挖矿,用手机电脑就能搞。

当然,什么创新叙事最后都是为了让价格更性感,当时吸引更多人注意的点还是因为 $ORE 在上线的几天内就暴涨接近百倍的疯狂走势。

疯狂拉盘+人人可挖的机制,再配合上当时热情满载的 Solana 盛况,结果就是这个项目上线不久就人气爆棚,每个群都在提,大家都在挖。上线三天左右,Ore 挖矿用户工在每小时大约发起近百万笔交易需求,直接让 Solana 卡死,交易丢失、延迟,一团糟。

一个项目影响到一整个链的使用体验,印象中这种情况上一次发生还是在 $XEN 拔高以太坊主网 Gas 的那次“社会实验”的时候。尽管让丝滑的 Solana 卡得怨声载道,但黑红也是红,何况对挖矿者和投机者来说这个项目是否影响到链的使用也根本不重要,Ore 用极短的时间吸引市场注意力,数天内 $ORE 的链上持币地址增长至 3 万多个,之前 Solana 链上的 Memecoin 巨鲸也纷纷入场。

弊端出现,挖矿暂停

好景不长,在大规模挖矿行为之下,智能合约本身的问题也逐渐暴露:原本设计用来保证公平的挖矿机制出了岔子,变成了谁能成功提交交易,谁就算成功挖到 $ORE,这偏离了团队最初的公平分配的设想。

Bug 出现后不久,Ore 创始人@HardhatChad 宣布暂停 Ore 项目的挖矿活动,并表示将尽快迭代出项目 v2 版本。

之后数月 Ore 这个项目已经逐渐淡出人们视野,直到近日,Ore v2 重新上线。

在 Ore v1,$ORE 的总量不设上限。更新 v2 版本后,新的 $ORE 总量限定在 2100 万个,预计 40 年内开采完毕。

值得注意的是 v1 和 v2 的 $ORE 是两个不同的代币,所有的 $ORE v1 的代币后续会有相关特殊标记,并且可以在 2024 年 11 月 2 日之前可以通过官网或创始人 @HardhatChad 创建的 Solana blink 升级到 $ORE v2。
