Reports indicate a new transfer of bitcoins from addresses allegedly associated with the media company of US President Donald Trump, Trump Media & Technology Group, to the cryptocurrency exchange CryptoCom.
According to blockchain analysis data, addresses linked to Trump Media transferred approximately 2628 $BTC to CryptoCom, amounting to about $165 million.
It was previously believed that the company purchased a total of 11,542 $BTC at an average price of $118,500. It is claimed that approximately 7,281 $BTC were withdrawn from these addresses in 2026, while around 4,261 $BTC are still stored on these addresses.
The total realized and unrealized losses of Trump Media from bitcoin investments are estimated at approximately $555 million.
However, sending bitcoins to a cryptocurrency exchange does not necessarily mean the assets were sold. The transfer could also have been made for storage, liquidity management, or another financial operation. This cannot currently be determined, and transfers from cold wallets to centralized exchanges are usually considered sales operations.
