Fidelity and ARK led a net outflow of $131 million from Bitcoin ETFs on Thursday, as investor pressure spread across several major funds. ARK 21Shares' ARKB saw the largest withdrawal at $58.82 million, followed closely by Fidelity's FBTC at $55.12 million. Grayscale's GBTC also experienced outflows of $36.29 million. While Grayscale's Bitcoin Mini Trust and Morgan Stanley's MSBT attracted $38.93 million and $7.08 million respectively, the overall balance for Bitcoin ETFs remained negative. In contrast, Ether and XRP ETFs saw net inflows, continuing a trend of selective demand beyond Bitcoin. Ether ETFs gained $6.72 million, led by Grayscale's Ether Mini Trust, and the Bitwise XRP ETF attracted the entire day's inflow of $2.25 million. The activity was accompanied by reports of traditional banks, including Bank of Montreal and the National Bank of Canada, disclosing small positions in regulated XRP and Bitcoin investment products. While selling pressure was concentrated on Bitcoin, the session highlighted a divergence in crypto asset demand and the gradual integration of crypto-related products into institutional portfolios.
