Chiba Institute of Technology has become the first academic partner of Theta Network in Japan. As part of the collaboration with Theta EdgeCloud, Professor Takagi's laboratory and the university's student Web3 club, which has over 250 members, will gain access to decentralized computing resources for research in AI, simulations, and student project development.
Theta Network is a decentralized computing network. The Theta EdgeCloud platform provides access to computing resources from over 30,000 edge nodes and distributed GPU resources as an alternative to traditional cloud services.
Professor Toru Takagi and his laboratory are engaged in the development and research of systems based on mathematical models that can be processed and tested using computers. Areas of focus for the lab include game theory, automated theorem proving using AI, and modeling cellular activity.
