Trading of spot cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the US painted a different picture in terms of investor activity. According to data from SoSoValue, the net inflow into spot Bitcoin ETFs was $32.11 million, while the net outflow from spot Ethereum ETFs was $18.65 million. The data showed that institutional investor interest in Bitcoin remains, while profit-taking continues in Ethereum funds in the short term.
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) recorded the highest single-day net inflow. The net capital inflow into IBIT was $89.83 million in one day, bringing its total net inflow to date to $60.42 billion. Conversely, the largest outflow was observed from the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC). The net outflow from FBTC was $43.08 million, while its historical total net inflow stands at $9.96 billion.
According to SoSoValue data, as of the time of writing, the total net asset value of spot Bitcoin ETFs was $77.46 billion. The ETF-managed assets' share of Bitcoin's total market capitalization reached 6.08%, and the total cumulative net inflow into spot Bitcoin ETFs to date was $51.36 billion.
The situation in the Ethereum market appeared less favorable. Despite an overall net outflow of $18.65 million from spot Ethereum ETFs, some funds showed positive movement. The Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust (MSSE) recorded the highest single-day net inflow, receiving $14.30 million, bringing its total net inflow since inception to $19.45 million.
BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) came in second. The ETHA fund saw an inflow of $5.16 million for the day, bringing its total net inflow over the entire period to $11.43 billion.
On the other hand, the largest single-day outflow was observed in the Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH). The net outflow from FETH was $16.07 million, while its total net inflow to date is $2.11 billion.
