Русско-канадский разработчик Виталик Бутерин заявил, что полная приватность и безопасность станут приоритетами 1-го уровня (L1) в экосистеме Ethereum. Его комментарий сопровождал публичный анонс проекта Kohaku, представленного разработчиком под псевдонимом Nico, который совместно с Ethereum Foundation работает над этой инициативой.

Kohaku представляет собой набор криптографических примитивов и SDK для кошельков, который позволит проводить приватные транзакции без участия централизованных посредников. Базовая реализация будет доступна в виде браузерного расширения, что облегчит интеграцию с существующими Web3-инструментами.

Команда проекта подчеркнула: приватность и безопасность — 2 главных направления Kohaku. Разработка началась в 2025 году с акцентом на анонимность, а в 2026 году проект сосредоточится на усилении защиты и внедрении новых механизмов предотвращения взломов и утечек данных.

Виталик отметил, что Ethereum за последние годы стал платформой, продвигающей криптографию и компьютерные науки. Однако для построения устойчивой открытой экономики необходим следующий шаг. Им станет обеспечение приватности пользователей и стабильной инфраструктуры. Kohaku должен достичь именно этих целей.

По словам разработчиков, продукт ограничит объем данных, доступных сторонам транзакции, до минимально необходимого уровня. Это позволит снизить риски утечек и сделает взаимодействие в Web3 более безопасным, сохранив прозрачность и проверяемость сети.

Ожидается, что первая демонстрация Kohaku состоится на конференции Devcon, организуемой Ethereum Foundation. Аналитики считают, что проект может стать ключевым элементом в формировании нового стандарта цифровой конфиденциальности в экосистеме Эфириум.
