COTI окажется в центре новой песочницы ЕЦБ

Европейский центральный банк продолжает исследовать возможности запуска цифрового евро. В новом этапе проекта — так называемой «песочнице» — примет участие COTI Network.

Компания стала одним из «пионеров» — частных игроков, которых выбрали для практического тестирования технологических решений. В числе прочих партнеров — KPMG, Erste Group Bank и десятки финтех-стартапов. Всего в проект вовлечено около 70 компаний.

COTI оказалась в списке не случайно. Ранее проект участвовал в аналогичном пилоте по цифровой валюте с Центробанком Израиля. Теперь его опыт в области Web3-платежей и фокуса на конфиденциальности будет задействован в европейском контексте.

Почему выбрали именно COTI

Проект давно развивает решения для приватных и быстрых транзакций. Недавно COTI представила облегчённый инструмент для конфиденциальных платежей, способный встроиться в экосистему Web3.

Такой подход может пригодиться ЕЦБ. Особенно на фоне растущих опасений по поводу приватности цифрового евро. Напомним, что ЕС уже планирует к 2027 году запретить анонимные криптоплатежи и ограничить использование приватных монет вроде Monero и Zcash. Участие COTI может показать, возможно ли совместить приватность и соответствие нормативным требованиям.
