Компания-разработчик Jump Crypto объявила о запуске ранней версии клиента для валидаторов Firedancer под названием Frankendancer в основной сети Solana.

Базовый клиент Firedancer также активировали в тестнете, сообщил научный директор Jump Crypto Кевин Бауэрс.

Frankendancer представляет собой гибрид технологии Firedancer и кода валидатора Agave. Двойная конфигурация позволяет немедленно вносить изменения в сеть до релиза основной версии.

Согласно заявлению, написанный на языке C клиент добавляет дополнительный уровень безопасности за счет диверсификации кодовой базы валидатора Solana, в отличие от оригинального ПО на основе Rust.

«Второй независимый валидатор имеет преимущества помимо производительности, но производительность является предпосылкой для снижения затрат и увеличения пропускной способности», — добавил Бауэрс.
