Что ждет рынок опционов на BTC и ETH после экспирации

По данным Deribit, скоро истекут опционы на биткоин на сумму более $786 млн. Максимальная болевая точка этих контрактов составляет $59 000.

На этой неделе опционы включают 13 835 контрактов, что намного меньше, чем на прошлой — 61 793. Соотношение пут и колл опционов на BTC составляет 0,80.

Кроме того, сегодня также истекает 124 812 контрактов на Ethereum. Условная стоимость этих контрактов превышает $291 млн. Максимальная болевая точка для опционов на ETH — $2 500, а соотношение пут и колл — 0,63.

Максимальная болевая точка в торговле опционами — это цена, при достижении которой актив принесет финансовые потери наибольшему числу держателей. Именно на этом уровне маркет-мейкеры имеют наибольший стимул для управления ценой.

Соотношение пут и колл опционов, которое сравнивает количество путов (ставок на понижение) и коллов (ставок на повышение), дает трейдерам дополнительную информацию. Соотношение ниже 1 указывает на бычьи настроения. То есть количество коллов превышает количество путов. Соотношение выше 1 — наоборот.

Аналитики из Greeks.live прокомментировали рыночные условия перед сегодняшней экспирацией. По их словам, на фоне продолжающегося падения биткоина уверенность рынка продолжает ослабевать. В ближайшем будущем они не ожидают никаких позитивных событий. Кроме того, сентябрь — исторически худший месяц для криптовалют, поэтому среди трейдеров преобладают медвежьи настроения.

«Падение биткоина продолжается, и уверенность рынка продолжает ослабевать. На рынке блокчейн-опционов сегодня было продано большое количество путов, составившее почти 30% от общего объема: $280 млн продано в путах BTC и $90 млн — в путах ETH. Что касается данных по опционам, то все основные метрики склоняются в медвежью сторону, а подразумеваемая волатильность немного выросла. В целом, ожидания рынка опционов в отношении будущего перекошены в сторону краткосрочного негатива. В ближайшей перспективе не ожидается никаких позитивных событий, а сентябрь также был слабым месяцем, и настроения на рынке сейчас более сдержанные», — отметили эксперты Greeks.live.

На момент написания материала биткоин торгуется по $55 397. За последние сутки цена BTC снизилась на 3,2%. В то же самое время Ethereum подешевел на 3,6%, опустившись до $2 330.

Как правило, экспирация опционных контрактов вызывает резкие, но кратковременные колебания цен. Вскоре после этого рынок обычно стабилизируется.
