Ripple Confirms Over 75 Speakers for Swell 2026 Conference, Expects Over 1,500 Attendees
Ripple has confirmed an expanded program for its Swell 2026 conference in New York, scheduled for October 27-29. The event expects over 1,500 attendees, more than 75 speakers, and over 50 sessions across three stages.
The 2026 edition uniquely combines Ripple's institutionally-focused Swell conference with the developer-centric XRPL Apex event, marking the largest Swell to date. It aims to bridge institutional decision-makers with blockchain development teams.
Key speakers include Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, President Monica Long, Robinhood's Johann Kerbrat, BNY Mellon's Laide Agboola, and Intercontinental Exchange's Michael Blaugrund. Other participants represent Tradeweb, PwC, Amazon Web Services, and the XRP Ledger Foundation.
The agenda will cover payments, capital markets, ETFs, stablecoins, tokenization, treasury management, cybersecurity, compliance, and practical applications of the XRP Ledger. Developer sessions will focus on the XRPL's consensus and transaction infrastructure.
The conference takes place as New York develops specific oversight rules for dollar-linked digital assets, following the state's July proposal for new regulations governing payment stablecoin issuers.
A pre-conference hackathon is scheduled for October 24-25, with the main stage sessions, breakout discussions, and an exhibition hall running October 28-29 at Manhattan's 'The Shed'.
