Thredd — a payment processing platform that uses AI, has become the technology partner for Cashi in launching a new card that allows payments with stablecoins and earning cashback. The service is currently operational in Hong Kong, with entry into the Mexican market planned for the end of 2026.
Cashi is an application for everyday payments using stablecoins. Through it, users can store and transfer digital assets, and with the Cashi card — pay for groceries, subscriptions, online purchases, travel, and other daily expenses. Cashback is also earned on purchases.
In Hong Kong, virtual Visa cards and payments via Google Pay are currently available. In Mexico, Cashi plans to issue physical cards and add support for Apple Pay. In the future, the company expects to use the launches in these countries to enter other markets.
