Кошельки, связанные с создателем биткоина (BTC) Сатоши Накамото, остаются крупнейшей нетронутой сокровищницей в криптомире. В них хранится около 1,1 млн BTC.

Аналитик и амбассадор рынка предсказаний Kalshi под ником StarPlatinum оценил текущую безопасность активов создателя первой криптовалюты.

Общие запасы Сатоши распределены по более чем 22 000 адресам. Они были идентифицированы благодаря уникальному паттерну майнинга Patoshi.

«На данный момент взлом кошельков через перебор ключей невозможен. Биткоин использует алгоритм цифровой подписи на эллиптических кривых. Он обеспечивает уровень безопасности около 128 бит. Ключевое пространство настолько велико, что для форсирования приватного ключа потребовалось бы время, буквально превышающее возраст Вселенной», — объяснил он.

Эксперт добавил, что на текущий момент не было обнаружено ни одной программной ошибки, которая могла бы скомпрометировать ключи Сатоши.

При этом кошельки создателя биткоина не лишены уязвимостей, особенно на фоне появления новых технологий. По словам StarPlatinum, главный риск связан с тем, что многие ранние кошельки работают в режиме P2PK (Pay-to-Public-Key) — когда публичный ключ виден прямо в блокчейне.

«Если гипотетическому злоумышленнику удастся напрямую взломать ECDSA, то кошельки P2PK станут первыми мишенями. По оценкам, около 4-6 млн BTC на других ранних адресах также под угрозой такого взлома», — рассказал аналитик

Квантовая угроза

Основная угроза для ECDSA исходит от алгоритма Шора. Он может взломать ECDSA, но только при наличии полностью функционального квантового компьютера. По текущим оценкам, для этого потребуется около 2300+ логических кубитов, что фактически означает миллионы физических кубитов.

«Современные квантовые машины далеки от такой мощности. Исследователи называют реалистичный интервал угрозы между 2029 и 2033 годами, и это считается оптимистичным прогнозом. Даже для взлома только кошелька Сатоши понадобится стабильное и масштабное квантовое оборудование, которого пока не существует», — заявил аналитик.

Вероятный сценарий

Эксперт подчеркнул, что в случае реального квантового прорыва под удар попадут не только кошельки Сатоши. Уязвимыми окажутся все старые кошельки P2PK и P2PKH. В них публичный ключ раскрывается при первой трате.

«Тем не менее, сеть биткоина, скорее всего, успеет скоординировать экстренную миграцию на квантово-устойчивые алгоритмы задолго до того, как кто-то сможет полностью взломать ECDSA в промышленных масштабах», — отметил StarPlatinum.

Таким образом, по его словам, для взлома кошельков Сатоши должно произойти два события одновременно:

  • квантовые вычисления должны совершить «массивный скачок»,

  • сеть биткоин никогда не должна обновляться.

«Учитывая эти два условия, вероятность взлома в любом реалистичном временном горизонте крайне мала. Расслабьтесь, средства Сатоши заблокированы (пока)», — заключил StarPlatinum.
