Канадский инвестиционный холдинг Sol Strategies взял кредит на $17,4 млн для покупки монет Solana. Об этом сообщается в пресс-релизе компании.

Кредитором выступил председатель Sol Strategies Антанас Гуога. Средства направят на крупномасштабные закупки SOL, которые задействуют в стейкинге.

«Я предоставляю этот капитал Sol Strategies, поскольку твердо верю как в корпоративные стратегии, так и в саму Solana», — отметил Гуога.

Согласно заявлению, 4 млн канадских долларов уже освоили. Процентная ставка составляет 5% годовых, начисляемых ежедневно. Договор по займу действует до 6 января 2027 года.

«Оценив несколько вариантов финансирования стратегических инвестиций, мы пришли к выводу, что условия этого кредита — наиболее выгодный вариант для наших акционеров», — добавила CEO компании Лия Уолд.

12 сентября 2024 года компания провела ребрендинг, сменив название с Cypherpunk Holdings на Sol Strategies. Бизнес сосредоточил свои усилия на инвестициях в экосистему Solana.

По состоянию на 31 декабря 2024 года Sol Strategies разместила в стейкинге более 1,5 млн SOL (около $288 млн). Из них 142 684 SOL — собственные средства фирмы.
