Leveraging the cost advantages of the 12-inch platform's scale and the localized supply chain, Nexperia China adopted a counter-cyclical strategy by reducing prices for key products like power MOSFETs by about 30% amid an industry-wide price hike. It also established its own e-commerce platform and shortened delivery cycles to 4-6 weeks from the industry norm of 20-40 weeks. Furthermore, the company switched to RMB settlement for all trade. Nexperia China's transformation demonstrates how a robust, autonomous domestic supply chain can not only ensure survival but also enhance global competitiveness. As Chief Commercial Officer Li Dongyue stated, "A strong enough Chinese supply chain can serve not only China but also the world."
