Abstract

The Solana memecoin $ANSEM is facing scrutiny after on-chain analysts revealed the token's deployer transferred approximately 60% of its total supply—650 million tokens—to crypto influencer Ansem. The deployer then sold their remaining tokens for about $11,800, securing an estimated profit of $5,500, despite the token briefly reaching a valuation above $120 million. In response, Ansem stated he has already distributed roughly $7 million worth of $ANSEM through community airdrops and plans further distributions as the token's market cap grows, aiming to expand the holder base. However, analytics platform Bubblemaps identified an early holder cluster that has sold about $500,000 of tokens and still holds around 1% of the supply, indicating continued selling pressure amidst the token's volatile rally and $43 million market capitalization.

Solana memecoin $ANSEM has come under fresh scrutiny after on-chain investigators revealed that its deployer transferred roughly 60% of the token’s supply to crypto influencer Ansem, who later said he had distributed about $7 million worth of the token through community airdrops.

The findings from Lookonchain and Bubblemaps come as $ANSEM traded around $0.10 at the time of writing. This gave the token a market capitalization of roughly $43 million after a volatile rally. The on-chain reports have sparked debate over the token’s distribution and early holder activity.

Deployer transferred majority of supply to Ansem

According to Lookonchain, the wallet identified as “yHCxHB” deployed $ANSEM. It spent approximately $6,300 to create the token before acquiring 792.45 million $ANSEM.

The analytics platform said the deployer subsequently transferred 650 million $ANSEM to Ansem before selling the remaining 142.45 million tokens for roughly $11,800. This resulted in an estimated profit of about $5,500.

The transaction drew attention because the deployer retained only a small realized gain. This is despite the token briefly reaching a valuation above $120 million, according to Lookonchain’s analysis.

Ansem says $7M has already been distributed

Following the on-chain disclosures, Ansem said he had already distributed approximately $7 million worth of $ANSEM through multiple rounds of community airdrops.

In a post on X, he said more distributions would follow as the token’s market capitalization increased. He added that his long-term goal was to grow $ANSEM to one million holders from roughly 25,000 currently.

Separately, Bubblemaps said Ansem received approximately 60% of the token supply, much of which was later distributed to the community.

The analytics platform also identified a separate holder cluster that has already sold around $500,000 worth of $ANSEM. Also, it continues to hold roughly 1% of the token’s supply, suggesting some early wallets remain active sellers despite the token’s rapid rise.

Final Summary

  • Lookonchain said the $ANSEM deployer transferred 650 million tokens, around 60% of the supply, to Ansem before exiting, with an estimated profit of $5,500.
  • Ansem said he has already airdropped roughly $7 million worth of $ANSEM. At the same time, Bubblemaps flagged a separate cluster of early holders that continues to sell into the rally.

Can Open USD Support Stripe's Ambitions?

Can Open USD support Stripe's ambition? The article argues that OUSD represents a pivotal strategic move for Stripe, shifting its narrative from being a superior payments API company to becoming a "money movement network." Unlike simply facilitating payments, this new model aims to organize and define the settlement layer, default assets, and economic distribution rules for future commerce. The analysis highlights OUSD's role in giving Stripe a potential default settlement asset, enabling deeper economics through reserve earnings, and providing a programmable money layer for emerging use cases like AI agentic commerce. Crucially, OUSD is presented not as a direct "USDC killer" but as an attempt to redefine the business model of stablecoins, proposing a collaborative governance structure where contributing partners share in the network's economic benefits and governance. For Stripe, this is about evolving from a powerful "abstraction layer" over traditional financial rails into an active participant and potential architect of the next-generation global settlement network. While OUSD alone cannot immediately realize this ambition, it signals Stripe's intent to move closer to the money layer itself, positioning itself at the center of future money flows in an increasingly automated, platform-driven, and AI-powered economy. The ultimate question is whether Stripe can transition from being a best-in-class payment processor to becoming the foundational infrastructure for internet-native money movement.
