刚开始看到这个消息还有点没反应过来?ChatGPT里不是一直有个Codex选项吗?

今天才去点了点,发现原来是个“假的”,让你进一步下载Codex应用的,ChatGPT里面没法直接用。

所以也就是说,未来一合并,聊天和干活可以在一个应用里搞定了,不用再切APP。

但是,你以为事情到这里就结束了吗?

至少从OpenAI的角度来看,Codex或许仅仅是个开始。

而关于超级应用的全部畅想,透过这场发布会,我们终于一次性搞清了。

原来Codex只是第一步

发布会整整有1小时,信息密度很高,但总结下来核心就三件事。

1、ChatGPT要合并Codex了,因为时代变了。

2、Codex还要继续升级,所以又甩出了三大更新。

3、Codex正在迎头赶上Claude Code,GPT-5.5的“省”就是一个关键因素。

首先就是让众人比较意外的合并事件,为什么ChatGPT选择现在合并Codex?

一个是,当初为了追赶Claude Code才推出的Codex,现在确实能用成绩说话了。

更关键的是,20%压根不是程序员,而是分析师、设计师、投行从业者等知识工作者,并且这群人的增速是开发者的3倍

这说明,Codex正在形成强有力的破圈之势。

而且在OpenAI很看重的收入问题上(当时就是眼馋Claude Code能吸金才跟进的),它自己透露目前来自企业的营收已经占到OpenAI整体营收的4成,到今年底这个比例将达到50%。

说白了,现在Codex用户增长迅速、覆盖人群广,而且还真让OpenAI赚到钱了。

似乎一切都在告诉OpenAI,是时候考虑下一步了。

而下一步要走的方向,至少目前来看是非常明朗的——从Chat到Agent,从聊天到执行

短短一行字,道尽一个超级应用的终极魅力,未来,用户是真的不用在各个APP间切换了,你说一句指令,ChatGPT就能帮你理解,然后Codex就能调用各种Agent帮你执行。

所以这整合,其实就是OpenAI向超级应用迈出的第一步。

你问下一步是什么?答案大家可能已经猜到了——浏览器

浏览器是这场整合的最后一环,它补上了AI进入网页世界的入口,让用户只需在ChatGPT里动动嘴,就能通过Codex在浏览器里自动完成检索、操作后台、处理工作等一切原本需要人点击的任务。

至此,ChatGPT+Codex+Atlas浏览器,OpenAI终于有望通过一个APP实现从聊天到全场景的执行。

不过退到今天,咱们还是只说Codex的事。

为了让Codex有更多可以干活的“兵”,OpenAI一口气又甩出三项更新:

六大岗位Agent插件,覆盖数据分析、销售、创意制作、产品设计、股权投资和投行,直接整合了Snowflake、Figma、Salesforce等62个企业应用,内置110个自动化技能。

Annotations功能,直接在文档原文上圈选修改,不用再重新生成一整篇。这个能力开发者已经在用了,用来修改代码、Markdown文件和Codex生成的网站。

现在,它扩展到了文档、表格、PPT等内容创作场景。

Sites功能,让Codex把你的工作成果一键变成可交互的网页应用,生成URL直接分享给团队。

感觉这个功能还挺实用,以前开发一个项目,不懂技术的人只能模糊描述自己的需求,现在人人都能生成一个醒目直观的可视化demo,团队沟通成本显然将大幅降低。

目前这个功能面向Business和Enterprise客户开放preview。

看到没,OpenAI赌的就是,未来一定会有越来越多普通人从对话转向执行。

有人可能就问了,那为啥不是Codex吞并ChatGPT呢?

只能说,表面看这是ChatGPT吞掉Codex的故事,但几个细节拼在一起,方向可能正好反过来

5月的组织架构调整里,一手做大Codex的Thibault Sottiaux升任核心产品与平台负责人,消费者、企业、开发者三条线全归他管。而把ChatGPT做到9亿周活的Nick Turley,被调去了企业产品线。

所以现在是Codex的人在管ChatGPT,不是反过来。

此外,Brockman内部备忘录的措辞也值得琢磨——

他写的不是“升级ChatGPT”,而是“投入一个统一的agentic平台”。

所以这次合并,与其说是产品整合,不如说是一次路线切换:从对话到执行,从聊天到Agent。

ChatGPT提供的是10亿用户的流量底盘,Codex提供的是增长引擎和未来叙事。

不过Codex这条命,说到底还是被对手Anthropic逼出来的。

就连发布会中提到的GPT-5.5,几乎也可以算作这一压力下的产物。

回过头看,如果不是Anthropic,Codex可能到今天还只是ChatGPT里一个不起眼的附属功能。

让我们把时间线拉回到去年Claude Code预览版发布时。

Claude Code一经问世便大获成功,其年化收入今年2月突破25亿美元,从上线到10亿只花了6个月,是商业软件史上跑得最快的产品之一。

全球GitHub公开提交中约4%出自它之手,用户平均每周投入20小时。

正是Claude Code的爆发,让OpenAI内部意识到:自己在编码这个领域,已经落于人后了

落后了怎么办?那就赶。

以前AI行业的默认叙事,一直是Anthropic摸着OpenAI过河——GPT先出Claude跟上,ChatGPT先火Claude对标。

但Code这条线上,剧本彻底改写。

Claude Code去年2月上线,两个月后OpenAI才甩出对标的Codex;Anthropic先做桌面版,OpenAI追着做;Anthropic推Cowork覆盖知识工作者,OpenAI后来用Plugins追。

这回是OpenAI摸着Anthropic过河了。

不过追赶的速度确实快。时间线拉出来,14个月,从零追到500万周活。

去年4月Codex Cloud预览上线;

今年2月推桌面端App和专用模型GPT-5.3-Codex;

3月宣布超级App合并并收购Python工具商Astral;

4月推100美元/月的ChatGPT Pro抢开发者;

5月上移动端;

6月正式嵌入ChatGPT。

可以说,这里面几乎每一步都有Claude Code的影子。

不过说实话,Codex翻盘靠的并不是在代码质量上硬刚。

毕竟盲测数据摆在那儿,Claude Code胜率仍有67%,多数程序员也承认它写出来的东西更扎实。

但奈何Claude Code限额实在太狠、价格又比Codex贵。

GPT-5.5最恨的一件事,就是浪费token。

用Codex搭配GPT-5.5,拿到同样质量的成品,token却只用1/3。

总之在追赶Claude Code这条路上,Codex正在把“少token多智能”奉为新的圭臬。

不可否认,AI编程领域现在确实是双雄争霸的格局。

一个代表着最强代码能力,一个代表着最强产品化能力。

但如果把时间拉长一点就会发现,Claude Code和Codex争夺的,其实早已不是编程工具市场。

当越来越多普通人开始把Agent当成日常工作伙伴时,入口,其实才是那个最重要的东西

而这,恰恰给了中国玩家新的机会——因为在Agent时代,决定胜负的未必只是模型能力,还有场景、生态、应用连接能力,以及对本土企业工作流的理解。

事实上,国内大厂已经陆续下场。

他们之中,有的选择切开发者入口,有的切企业内部办公入口,有的切全流程智能Agent平台。

但不管是哪条路,目标基本都是一致的——抢占Agent时代的核心入口。

大家心里都很清楚,如何利用本土场景的时间窗口,在Agent基础设施层面建立起真正的竞争壁垒,这才是真正的当务之急。

所以,接下来就看谁能率先出线,跑出中国版的Claude Code和Codex?

以及更关键的,谁能成为Agent时代国内新的超级入口?

回到本次合并事件。

照Codex现在这个发展态势以及行业大环境,我很想大胆说一句:

与其将合并后的应用继续叫ChatGPT,不如直接叫Codex

你仔细想想,ChatGPT,一听就是个“Chat”时代的老产物,但OpenAI现在押注的方向,恰恰不再是Chat。

管产品的是Codex的人,内部备忘录写的是agentic平台,增长最快的是执行类场景,新功能没有一个跟聊天有关。

ChatGPT能用吗?能用。但准确吗?不准确。

当然,OpenAI大概率不会改名。毕竟ChatGPT这三个字母已经成了AI的代名词,是价值无法轻易估量的品牌资产。

但名字不改,不代表本质没变

也许用不了多久,当你打开ChatGPT的时候,迎接你的不再是一个等你提问的对话框,而是一个已经替你把活干完的Agent。

到那时候,Chat不Chat的,已经不重要了。

换句话说,以后ChatGPT可能就是精神象征了...
