Курс криптовалюты Zcash (ZEC) обновил максимум с января 2018 года. Впервые за почти восемь лет цена монеты поднялась выше $600. За сутки она подорожала на 22%, с начала осени — на 1400% (с $41 до $629).

Анонимная монета Zcash была запущена девять лет назад, в октябре 2016 года. Она производится посредством майнинга, и ее эмиссия составляет 21 млн, так же как и у биткоина. Пока выпущено 16,7 млн ZEC.

ZEC работает на базе протокола zk-SNARK, что позволяет полностью скрыть данные участников процесса и их операции. Пользователи могут отправлять друг другу криптовалюту напрямую, и сторонние лица не смогут узнать, кто, кому и какую сумму перевел. Сайт Wikileaks принимал пожертвования в том числе именно в этой криптовалюте.

На 11:30 мск 7 ноября ZEC торгуется около $626. Рыночная капитализация Zcash впервые превысила $10 млрд, что позволило ей занять 13-е место среди крупнейших криптовалют в рейтинге CoinMarketCap. Монета обогнала по этому показателю не только самую известную из конфиденциальных криптовалют Monero (XMR), но также Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Stellar (XLM) и мемкоин Shiba Inu (SHIB).

Объем торгов ZEC за последние сутки превысил $1,8 млрд. В конце лета этот показатель в среднем составлял около $80–100 млн.

Создатель Zcash Зуко Вилкокс написал в конце октября, что не знает, почему ZEC так растет в цене и упадет ли обратно. «Но вот что я знаю: контрнарратив — «это скоординированный памп», всего лишь очередная циничная пропаганда от людей, которые не могут поверить во что-то хорошее и настоящее», — добавил Уилкокс.

Биткоин (BTC) и Ethereum (ETH) в минусе за последние сутки. Первая криптовалюта торгуется около $102 тыс., а ведущий альткоин — по $3,3 тыс. Общая капитализация крипторынка упала за 24 часа на 1%.

В лидерах роста помимо Zcash оказались еще некоторые монеты, которые были запущены на ранних этапах крипторынка, но последнее время находились в даунтренде. Это Filecoin (FIL), Tezos (XTZ) и Dash (DASH). Они подорожали за сутки на 59%, 21% и 11% соответственно.
