Финансовая компания Mill City Ventures III объявила о частном размещении акций (PIPE) на сумму в $450 млн. Большую часть привлеченных средств направят на создание резерва на базе Sui (SUI).

Mill City Ventures III — это американская финансовая компания, которая занимается кредитованием. Ее акции котируются на бирже Nasdaq.

Согласно релизу, компания предложила институциональным инвесторам чуть больше 83 млн акций по цене в $5,42, что гораздо ниже рыночного курса. Ведущими вкладчиками выступили хедж-фонд Karatage Opportunities и организация Sui Foundation.

Помимо них, в частном размещении приняли участие и другие контрагенты, включая: Big Brain Holdings, Galaxy Digital Inc, Pantera Capital, MParaFi Capital, Borderless и другие.

Ожидается, что сделка будет закрыта до 31 июля 2025 года. 98% от привлеченных средств направят на создание резерва на базе Sui (SUI), еще 2% — на корпоративную деятельность.

Вместе с тем, после закрытия сделки, в совет директоров Mill City Ventures III войдут двое новых членов — Мариус Барнетт, соучредитель Karatage Opportunities, и Дана Вагнер, действующая член совета директоров Coinbase Custody Trust Compan.

«Мы считаем, что Sui имеет все возможности для массового внедрения благодаря скорости и эффективности, которые институты требуют от криптовалюты в больших масштабах, а также технической архитектуре, способной поддерживать рабочие нагрузки ИИ, сохраняя при этом безопасность и децентрализацию», — заявил соучредитель Karatage Opportunities и новый главный инвестиционный директор Mill City Ventures III Стивен Макинтош.
