这个花哨术语代指所有关心以太坊发展的群体。该群体已取得若干重大胜利:去年,活动人士成功促使部分行业巨头重新审视对单一软件的过度依赖,从而避免了区块链生态可能发生的灾难性分裂。


如今,社交层似乎再下一城。它促使以太坊基金会重新思考大规模普及的路径。作为区块链持续发展中最重要的推动力量,这家非营利组织的新任联席董事本周一宣布了未来一年的三大优先事项:提升以太坊性能、确保二层区块链保持低成本、改善用户体验。


多年来,行业普遍认为普及之路需经由二层区块链。正如笔者上周通讯所述,以太坊开发者始终将主网定位为高端产品:速度缓慢、费用高昂,但保持高度去中心化与超强安全性。二层链则被设计为"人民的区块链":快速且廉价。


当前二层链确实实现了高速低成本,但社区对"以Rollup为核心"的发展路线图出现了集体质疑。批评者指责以太坊基金会过度专注深奥研究,而非提升ETH价格、改进主网及用户体验。


基金会显然接收到了这些信号。联席董事Tomasz Stańczak周一明确表示:"我们将聚焦执行速度、责任落实、清晰目标及可量化指标,全力保障以太坊主网协议的成功。未来重点是通过卓越的用户体验、设计及互操作性,让整个多链生态系统形成统一感知。"


为彰显这种"回归核心"的决心,以太坊开发者本周一以"非绝对必要"为由取消了一项既定升级计划。需要说明的是,多数开发者并非基金会雇员,该决策也非基金会单独作出。但这充分表明开发者群体已进入"战时状态"。


开发者们曾耗时多年筹备以太坊虚拟机(执行智能合约的软件)升级,这项名为EVM对象格式(EOF)的改进本将提升开发者体验等多项功能,原定纳入2025年下半年实施的Fusaka升级。


但由于其复杂性、遗留问题,尤其是对终端用户的实际价值存疑,开发者在周一的Zoom会议上一致决定暂缓实施,将EOF移出Fusaka升级并延期审议。


风险投资公司Paradigm研究合伙人Storm Slivkoff在X平台评价道:"此举具有重大里程碑意义,象征着以太坊翻开新篇章,朝着'用户影响最大化'的方向进化。"
