В BlackRock оценили результаты Ethereum-ETF с момента запуска

Приток средств, торговые объемы и другие показатели Ethereum-ETF оказались намного ниже, чем у аналогичных продуктов на базе биткоина. Такое заявление сделал руководитель отдела цифровых активов компании BlackRock Роберт Митчник (Robert Mitchnick), пишет Fortune.

Выступая на конференции Messari Mainnet в Нью-Йорке, Митчник признал, что результаты криптовалютного фонда iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) сложно назвать «впечатляющими».

Между тем, если сравнивать динамику ETHA с биржевыми фондами в целом, можно заметить ряд положительных изменений.

«Очень редко можно увидеть, как ETF достигает $1 млрд AUM за семь недель, как это сделал ETHA. В большинстве случаев на это уходит несколько лет», — заявил Митчник.

Ранее мы писали, что чистая стоимость активов спотового Ethereum-ETF от BlackRock превысила $1 млрд. Фонд вошел в 20% из более чем 3700 ETF по данному показателю.

Для сравнения — фонду iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) понадобилось всего 15 дней, чтобы общая сумма активов под управлением достигла $2 млрд. Сегодня IBIT управляет активами с оценочной стоимостью более $24 млрд.

Ситуация с Ethereum-ETF вряд ли изменится в ближайшее время, считает Митчник. Значительный всплеск торговых объемов маловероятен, поскольку ценность Ethereum как актива с трудом воспринимается инвесторами:

«История с Ethereum немного сложнее для восприятия многими инвесторами. Вот почему мы так преданы данному направлению вместе со многими нашими клиентами. Не стоит ожидать таких же крупных притоков средств и AUM, как в случае с биткоином. Но это все равно хорошее начало».

Напомним, CEO BlackRock Ларри Финк назвал биткоин законным платежным инструментом. Он неоднократно призывал инвестировать в этот актив в долгосрочной перспективе.
