观点:以太坊有一天会变得不再酷了吗?

相比于以太坊币价萎靡不振和Vitalik不务正业谈女朋友外,更让人糟心且担心的是目前以太坊的Layer2让它进入了也许是最危难时刻的“遵义会议”。

以太坊当年放弃了高难度的分片而走向了更简单的Layer2,这不怪偷懒,不可能三角就是没法解决,所以Layer2看似更顺利更有性价比,但也为今天爆发的争吵埋了雷,一切的债都是要还的,现在已经到了以太坊必须要还债的时刻。

Layer2路线在最开始的时候构想的非常完美,中央银行和地方银行的关系嘛,没有任何问题,以太坊只需要躺着收钱脏活累活都交给其他Layer2来干,可是如果Layer2们不愿意一直当一条以太坊的狗呢?国家机器可以强迫地方银行归属中央,以太坊该怎么办呢?就靠Vitalik和那几个元老院的人搞政治正确吗?

你认为Polygon是以太坊吗?BSC是以太坊吗?你犹豫了一下,应该不是吧,虽然都用的同样的钱包地址和开发语言,但好像除此以外也没和以太坊有什么关系。

那我再问你,你认为Arb、OP、Base是以太坊吗?这时候你更犹豫了,应该算是吧,毕竟我用的是ETH当gas,可如果有一天他们不再用ETH了呢,你还觉得是以太坊吗?再往远了说,你觉得Movement是以太坊吗?这..不算吧,可人家也自称以太坊Layer2啊。

所以Layer2带来的主要问题有

1. 用户体验的割裂,来回切换链、来回跨链,烦都烦死了。

2.稀释以太坊市值,每一个发了币的Layer2都可以理解成是从以太坊身上咬下来了一块肉。

3.让以太坊不再团结。各个Layer2心怀鬼胎,背后都有不同利益团伙的支持,互相争抢TVL和用户。

4.降低了创新意愿,这里与绝大多数人理解的Layer2作为更高性能的应用链本应该承担创新的职责,怎么还会降低了呢?因为每多一个Layer2出来,就可以多出来一大批xxx上的xxx...你懂我意思吧,当复制粘贴就可以赚钱的时候谁会去做更难的创新呢?

最理想的Layer2自己就不应该是一个自成一体的生态,而就应该是只服务某个应用的应用链!可是没人愿意只做好一条狗,谁都想拉帮结派自己当老大。

如果Layer2问题处理不好,以太坊可能会陷入Cosmos的境地,如果能够顺利解决度过难关,以太坊将会浴火重生。

但有时候又很理解以太坊当前的处境,以太坊不是一家公司,这句话大家都听过,可怎么理解呢?我用一个更具象的事来表达,每一条公链都有个Marketing团队或者xx区生态负责人吧,每年都有一大笔预算拨出来搞营销吧,Solana有,Ton有,连要死不活的波卡都一年花了4千万美金做营销,给了KOL 400万美金(可我没收到,劝波卡耗子尾汁找我一下),你现在听说过以太坊有个营销团队吗?以太坊有个亚洲区负责人吗?以太坊有拨出来几千万找KOL喊单,找媒体做小视频diss Solana吗? 这就是以太坊的优势,但同时也是劣势,不会整活,也没法整活。

曾经我问一位BAYC的大户为什么无聊猿跌这么惨,他说“因为它变得不再那么酷的,变得真的挺无聊的”,是啊,从朱啸虎等一帮财大气粗买几个猴子换头像装逼跑步入场Web3又离场的土老板开始出现,无聊猿从一帮代表反叛极客精神的符号开始变味了。

以太坊会有一天也变得不再酷了吗?
