As the crypto market nears the weekend, Bitcoin price has started showing acceleration, with it now reclaiming the $96K range, marking its first return to this level since February 24. Previously marked a key support, this range could now play as a major resistance level against Bitcoin’s pathway in recovering the $100K price mark.
Following the market reversal, various altcoins have experienced notable spikes. Among all, Virtuals Protocol’s VIRTUAL token is leading the top daily gainers with it surging over 35%, followed 10% gains from CRV, S, and FARTCOIN.
As the market continues to surge, traders and market analysts are expecting Bitcoin to break above $100K by the weekend. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading near $96,241 – up 1.32% in the past 24 hours.
ETH, which dropped to $1,741 in a dip earlier today, has come back in action with it now trading at $1,850, while SOL is also making a similar move and it is now trading near $151.8 – up 2.76% in the past 24 hours. Meanwhile XRP, BNB, DOGE, and ADA have followed the uptrend and are recovering from the dip and eying to break weekly highs.
Other altcoins, including HYPE, INJ, FET, SEI and WIF have increased with an average gain of 7% today.
On the losing side, FLOKI has taken the lead as it declines 5%, followed by OP’s 4% and IP’s 3% drop. Beside this, low-cap alts like XDC, LAYER, FLR, IMX and TON have seen a decent loss of 2% in the past 24 hours.
