Губернатор штата Вайоминг рассказал о планах запустить в следующем году государственный стейблкоин, привязанный к доллару США. Чиновник раскритиковал ФРС США за отсутствие гибкости по отношению к криптовалютам.

Марк Гордон (Mark Gordon) выступил на местном симпозиуме по блокчейну и выразил желание сделать Вайоминг первым американским штатом, который выпустит собственный стейблкоин. Токен будет обеспечен казначейскими векселями США и соглашениями о продаже с обратной покупкой, пообещал Гордон. Губернатор уверен, что став «первопроходцем» в запуске такого стейблкоина, Вайоминг сможет стимулировать экономику. К тому же, штат закрепит свою репутацию лидера в регулировании цифровых активов.

Гордон раскритиковал Федеральную систему США, назвав ее «тормозом инноваций». В истории страны было, по его словам, два обанкротившихся центральных банка — Первый банк и Второй банк Соединенных Штатов. Они были упразднены администрациями четвертого президента США Джеймса Мэдисона (James Madison) и седьмого президента Эндрю Джексона (Andrew Jackson). По словам Гордона, нынешняя ФРС не намного лучше. Citi maintains Buy ratings on all three with respective price targets. The conclusion is that Chinese modules are currently irreplaceable in the U.S. AI supply chain, creating a longer timeline for potential restrictions than the market may expect.
