Один из представителей Армии SHIB под псевдонимом Jolt объяснил скептическое отношение большинства членов криптосообщества к инициативе о сжигании Shiba Inu тем, что утилизация такого небольшого количества монет не повлияет на курс актива. По его мнению, эти средства лучше потратить на проекты, которые пойдут на пользу экосистеме Shiba Inu и будут способствовать развитию сети второго уровня блокчейна Ethereum Shibarium.
