BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF Ranks 6th In 2025 Global ETF Flows — Report
Despite a challenging year for the cryptocurrency market in 2025, BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF (IBIT) ranked sixth globally in net capital inflows, attracting approximately $25 billion. This achievement is notable as IBIT was the only fund among top traditional equity and bond ETFs to post negative returns. In contrast, SPDR’s gold ETF lagged behind in inflows despite a 64% return. Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas highlighted the significance of such strong inflows during a bearish period, suggesting even greater potential during favorable market conditions. Meanwhile, U.S. Bitcoin ETFs recorded a weekly net outflow of $497 million, reflecting broader market pressures. Bitcoin’s price fell to around $88,293, down 30% from its all-time high.
