Биржа Upbit запустила тестнет L2-сети GIWA

Upbit запустила сеть второго уровня на базе OP Stack под названием GIWA Chain.
Она призвана стать инфраструктурой для простого знакомства с Web3.
Также, вероятно, она сформирует экосистему для оборота стейблкоинов с привязкой к воне.

Южнокорейская криптобиржа Upbit запустила тестнет сети второго уровня GIWA Chain. Об этом сообщает BeInCrypto со ссылкой на выступление представителя Dunamu, материнской компании площадки, в рамках конференции Upbit D 2025.

Слухи о новом проекте биржи появились накануне. В прессу просочилась информация о том, что Dunamu зарегистрировала несколько товарных знаков GIWA. Также был запущен официальный сайт проекта.

Согласно ему, сеть представляет собой «глобальную инфраструктуру для доступа к Web3». Также там указано, что решение разработано на базе стека OP Stack.

Это обеспечивает совместимость с более широкой экосистемой Optimism, высокую пропускную способность и низкие комиссии (около 1 воны). Также в GIWA Chain есть собственный криптокошелек.

Разработчики из экосистемы Ethereum уже могут протестировать новую среду, используя привычные инструменты. Код GIWA Chain написан на языке Solidity, что упрощает создание новых продуктов.

«GIWA Chain стремится устранить барьеры Web3, создав простую и интересную инфраструктуру, доступную каждому», — так позиционируют свой проект разработчики.

В рамках конференции генеральный директор Dunamu О Кен Сок заявил, что сеть призвана стать блокчейном, обеспечивающим функциональность для финансового сектора. Также, судя по его словам, GIWA Chain создаст экосистему для оборота стейблкоинов с привязкой к воне.

Судя по обозревателю блоков, сеть уже работает некоторое время. Всего было обработано более 4 млн блоков, а суточный объем транзакций превышает 80 000.

Напомним, новый президент Южной Кореи еще в конце мая 2025 года заявил о планах по созданию стейблкоина с привязкой к воне.

При этом Upbit — не единственная криптобиржа, запустившая собственную сеть. Ярчайшим примером является решение Base от Coinbase.
