Управление пруденциального регулирования (PRA) Банка Англии объявило сбор данных о влиянии токенизированныех активов, стейблкоиноа и криптовалют на бизнес в Великобритании.

Информация необходима для работы PRA и Банка Англии при формировании правил регулирования крипторынка, объяснили чиновники. Она позволит получить данные о реальных масштабах деловой активности компаний, связанной с криптоактивами, а также сформировать подход к рискам.

Главное место в опросе PRA уделено сбору данных о возможных опасностях, связанных с требованиями Базельского комитета по банковскому надзору к структуре хранения и раскрытия информации о криптоактивах и планах использования общедоступных блокчейнов.

Регулятор просит компании учитывать любые будущие планы развития криптовалютных проектов с горизонтом до 30 сентября 2029 года. Сбор данных должен быть завершен до 24 марта 2025 года.

Ранее британский центробанк объявил о создании научной консультационной группы по вопросам разработки цифрового фунта стерлингов. Ведомство пригласило участвовать в эксперименте «академиков и исследователей».
