Как сообщил президент Charles Schwab Рик Вурстер, готовящийся к переходу на должность главного исполнительного директора, банк активно готовится к этим изменениям, ожидая их в ближайшей перспективе.

Что еще известно? В настоящий момент Charles Schwab уже предлагает торговлю паями биржевых фондов (ETF) и фьючерсами на базе криптовалют. Вурстер признал, что рынок цифровых активов привлек к себе огромное внимание, а его участники заработали много денег. Он также добавил, что сам не инвестировал в криптовалюту, и теперь чувствует себя «глупо».

Хотя топ-менеджер пока не собирается сам покупать цифровые активы, он поддерживает клиентов банка, которые хотят это сделать.

В начале 2025 года в банке произойдет смена руководства: Уолт Беттингер уступит должность гендиректора Вурстеру. В следующем году Беттингеру исполнится 65 лет, и он возглавляет Charles Schwab с 2008 года. В свою очередь Вурстер работает в Charles Schwab с 2016 года и является президентом с 2021 года.

Сам банк также предлагает ряд биржевых фондов, включая Schwab Crypto Thematic ETF на базе индекса криптокомпаний.

В июле прошлого года Charles Schwab совместно с маркетмейкером Citadel Securities и инвестиционной компанией Fidelity запустил институциональную криптобиржу EDX Markets (EDXM). Ее кастодианом выступает Anchorage Digital. В ноябре того же года платформа без объяснения причин провела делистинг Bitcoin Cash (BCH), сейчас она поддерживает только биткоин, Ethereum и Litecoin.

Рынок ожидает смягчения крипторегулирования в США и внедрения более четких правил после вступления Дональда Трампа в должность президента в январе. Сам политик в ходе предвыборной кампании неоднократно заявлял о необходимости поддержки криптоиндустрии.

После победы Трампа на выборах 5 ноября крипторынок резко пошел вверх, а биткоин несколько раз обновлял исторический максимум. Новый рекорд был зафиксирован 22 ноября на отметке выше $99 200.

Сторонники криптовалют вошли в команду нового президента, а также заняли большинство кресел в обеих палатах Конгресса, что облегчит принятие новой нормативно-правовой базы для отрасли.

Ранее в этом месяце запуск спотовой криптобиржи в США анонсировала команда ведущей аналитической блокчейн-платформы Arkham Intelligence. Разработчики подчеркнули, что пользователи смогут получить доступ к торгам только в случае, если это разрешено законодательством их штата.

Both platforms have outlined transition plans. Doubao will allow data viewing and self-backup for a period after shutdown, with data scheduled for permanent deletion by October 15. Tongyi Qianwen similarly advised users to save important content via copying or screenshots before the deadline. This strategic retreat from C-end agent features signals a broader market shift. Compliance capability and sustainable business models are replacing user scale and feature richness as the new core competitive dimensions.
