Платформа приостановила ее в декабре 2023 года.
Поводом послужили новые правила продвижения криптовалютных услуг и продуктов в стране.

Криптовалютный лендер Nexo возобновил регистрацию пользователей из Великобритании после внесения определенных поправок от Управления по финансовому надзору и регулированию (FCA). Об этом сообщает The Block со ссылкой на пресс-релиз компании.

Nexo приостановил регистрацию пользователей из Великобритании в декабре 2023 года. Это произошло после того, как FCA ввело новые требования для продвижения криптовалютных продуктов и услуг.

С целью соответствия этим правилам Nexo сотрудничал с компанией Gateway 21. Это уполномоченный FCA посредник, который помогает фирмам привести модель продвижения бизнеса в соответствие с требованиями регулятора.

Изменения предусматривают, в частности, предупреждение о рисках для клиентов и их анкетирование для категоризации. В издании отметили, что это стандартная практика для криптокомпаний в Великобритании.

«С помощью множества образовательных ресурсов и специально разработанных материалов мы стремимся предоставить им [клиентам] возможность уверенно и ясно ориентироваться в тонкостях пространства цифровых активов и нашего нового усовершенствованного процесса адаптации, разработанного специально для Великобритании», — заявила директор по закупкам Nexo Элица Таскова.

По ее словам, Великобритания остается важным рынком для криптолендера.

Согласно отчету FCA, с 8 октября по 31 декабря 2023 года регулятор выпустил 450 предупреждений о нарушении закона о рекламе криптовалютных услуг и продуктов.
