Южнокорейская криптобиржа Upbit запустила тестнет сети второго уровня GIWA Chain. Об этом сообщает BeInCrypto со ссылкой на выступление представителя Dunamu, материнской компании площадки, в рамках конференции Upbit D 2025.

Слухи о новом проекте биржи появились накануне. В прессу просочилась информация о том, что Dunamu зарегистрировала несколько товарных знаков GIWA. Также был запущен официальный сайт проекта.

Согласно ему, сеть представляет собой «глобальную инфраструктуру для доступа к Web3». Также там указано, что решение разработано на базе стека OP Stack.

Это обеспечивает совместимость с более широкой экосистемой Optimism, высокую пропускную способность и низкие комиссии (около 1 воны). Также в GIWA Chain есть собственный криптокошелек.

Разработчики из экосистемы Ethereum уже могут протестировать новую среду, используя привычные инструменты. Код GIWA Chain написан на языке Solidity, что упрощает создание новых продуктов.

«GIWA Chain стремится устранить барьеры Web3, создав простую и интересную инфраструктуру, доступную каждому», — так позиционируют свой проект разработчики.

В рамках конференции генеральный директор Dunamu О Кен Сок заявил, что сеть призвана стать блокчейном, обеспечивающим функциональность для финансового сектора. Также, судя по его словам, GIWA Chain создаст экосистему для оборота стейблкоинов с привязкой к воне.

Судя по обозревателю блоков, сеть уже работает некоторое время. Всего было обработано более 4 млн блоков, а суточный объем транзакций превышает 80 000.
