Aave struggles as BGD Labs plans April exit amid governance crisis

BGD Labs, a major service provider for the Aave DAO, announced it will exit by early April, citing concerns over Aave Labs' aggressive push toward centralized control. The team criticized Aave Labs for disregarding existing contributors' expertise and leveraging its influence over brand rights and voting power. BGD Labs, which built much of Aave V3, accused Aave Labs of promoting its own V4 upgrade by criticizing the current version.
