Police investigate possibility of substance abuse in connection with the fatal fall of Harry Ye

The mysterious death of Harry Ye, managing partner and founder of the Quantum Fintech Group, a fund with over $2 billion in assets, is under investigation in Paraguay. Ye fell to his death from the 30th floor of the Jade Park residential complex in Asunción on August 7 and was found completely naked. The autopsy confirmed death by multiple injuries from the fall, with no gunshot or stab wounds. A toxicology report was impossible due to the state of the remains. A building employee reported seeing a naked foreigner wandering the premises the day before, matching Ye's state. Police chief Francisco Ávalos suggested Ye may have suffered a mental health episode or substance abuse issue. While not ruling out foul play, Ávalos noted the high-security complex made unauthorized entry difficult. Ye's apartment was found in disarray, possibly from a rage episode.
