An India-based YouTuber, who posts updates and videos on Pi Network, has claimed that his account has been “demonetized” by YouTube for allegedly promoting Pi coin’s Global Consensus Value (GCV) of $314,159 among his followers.

According to reports, YouTuber ManSingh who has over 140,000 followers on his official YouTube account ‘Mansingh Expert’ and over 127,000 followers on his official X acount, has claimed that YouTube had recently removed the “monetization” option from his videos.

The content creator has claimed that the demonetization has been done due to a misunderstanding that emerged from several of his content featuring or promoting the GCV value of Pi i.e. $314,159.

“I support the Pi Network community and share updates regarding the proposed value ($314159) based on the core team’s and global supporters’ vision. I do not mislead or make false claims — only support this movement with honesty,” claimed YouTuber Man Singh on his official X account.

What is Pi GCV?

Ever since the hype of Pi network’s mainnet launch and official listing of Pi token grew in the crypto community back in 2024, a dedicated fan group of Pi network lovers has aspired to see the value of Pi coin at a whopping $314,159 due to the value of Pi being 3.14159.

Many argue that the alleged GCV of Pi, set at $314,159, is merely a fantasy held by ardent supporters of the Pi network. The current value of Pi coin is placed at $0.60.

What do YouTube policies say?

While YouTube’s terms of service for creators do not explicitly mention crypto influencers but they have put a detailed guideline under the ‘scam’ section of their content policies wherein they state that YouTube doesn’t allow content that makes “exaggerated promises” to viewers.

Meanwhile, the official X handle of YouTube has reverted to the allegations made by YouTuber, by stating that his application to remove the monetization ban will be reviewed soon.
