MEV Bot JaredFromSubway.eth Loses $7.5M in Approvals Honeypot
MEV bot JaredFromSubway.eth lost $7.5 million worth of crypto over the weekend after an approvals honeypot drained the bot. Blockchain investigator Specter flagged about 1,475 WETH, $2.9 million USDC, and $2 million USDT drained from the bot. Yearn developer Banteg described a 97-block campaign that used fake-DEX arbitrage opportunities.
