Ripple Taps $2 Trillion AUM BNY Mellon for Custody of RLUSD Reserves
Ripple teams up with BNY Mellon to safeguard RLUSD reserves as the stablecoin’s circulating supply exceeds $500 million.
Ripple selects BNY Mellon, the oldest U.S. bank with over $2 trillion in AUM, as the primary custodian for RLUSD stablecoin reserves.
RLUSD reached $500 million in supply just seven months after launching in December 2024.
Ripple will also use BNY Mellon’s transaction banking services to power RLUSD operations.
Ripple has partnered with BNY Mellon, a global financial institution managing over $2 trillion in assets, to serve as the primary custodian for RLUSD reserves. This development follows RLUSD surpassing the $500 million mark in circulating supply, just seven months after its launch.
