1. What Is Infrared Finance?

Infrared Finance is a full-stack Proof-of-Liquidity (PoL) infrastructure protocol built within the Berachain ecosystem. It integrates Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs), such as iBGT and iBERA, with validator operations, PoL emission optimization, on-chain data analytics, and automated PoL yield vaults. By unifying these components into a single, modular system, Infrared Finance delivers efficient, scalable, and sustainable liquidity and yield solutions for users, validators, and decentralized protocols.

2. How Does Infrared Finance Work?

Infrared Finance operates through the following core modules:

Liquid Staking (LST): Users stake assets such as BERA and BGT to receive liquid staking tokens (iBERA and iBGT). This enables participants to earn Proof-of-Liquidity (PoL) rewards while retaining asset liquidity.

Automated PoL Vaults: The protocol automatically executes PoL strategies to optimize liquidity allocation across Berachain validators and ecosystem protocols.

Validator and Emission Optimization: Through the IR and its derivative mechanisms, Infrared Finance coordinates validator selection and optimizes BGT emission efficiency to maximize network-wide returns.

Data Analytics and Governance Integration: Strategy parameters are continuously refined using real-time on-chain data, while governance mechanisms enable dynamic allocation and rebalancing of PoL resources.

3. Who Founded Infrared Finance?

Infrared Finance was co-founded by Raito alongside a team of experienced builders. Raito currently serves as the CEO of Infrared Finance and brings extensive industry experience to the project. His professional background includes key roles at notable blockchain organizations, including New Order DAO, Redacted Cartel, and TrustToken.

4. IR Tokenomics

The native token of the Infrared ecosystem is IR, deployed on Berachain with a fixed total supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens. The IR token serves multiple core functions, including staking, governance participation, reward and incentive emission management, and the allocation of PoL resources within the ecosystem, while also enabling third-party protocols to use IR for participation in Dutch auctions.

5. Timeline of Key Milestones

February 7, 2025: Official launch of Infrared Finance on the Berachain Mainnet.

March 4, 2025: Successfully completed a $14 million Series A funding round.

November 3, 2025: Conclusion of the points campaign and completion of the snapshot.

December 17, 2025: Token Generation Event (TGE) for the $IR token.​
